Madhumati Songs Free Download – 1958: Madhumati was released in the year 1958. It was directed by Bimol Roy and written by Ritwik Ghatak, and was the first and only teamwork between Bimol and Mr.Ghatak. It was one of the earliest film to deal with rebirth and had a gothic noir feel to it. In 2007 Farah  and Shah Rukh Khan made a new film, Om Shanti Om, that uses some plot elements from '"Madhumati'", but did not credit the earlier film.

Madhumati was holding the record for the most awards received by a film in Filmfare Awards near about 36 years, till the release of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge that got 10 Filmfare Awards in the year 1994.
Madhumathi was the record holder for the most awards received by a film in Filmfare Awards (9 Awards), till in the release of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge where it gets around 10 awards.

The star cast in the film was Dilip Kumar, Vyjayantimala, Pran and Johnny Walker. The music of the film was composted by Salil Choudhury, lyrics by Shailendra. Salil Choudhury bagged the best music director. Vyjayantimala got the best actress award, Mr. Walker got best supporting award. Bimol Roy bagged with best director award. Dilip Kumar was nominated for best actor.

The songs were sung by Lata Mangeshkar, Mohd. Rafi, Mukesh, Asha Bhonsle, and Mubarak Begum. Lata Mangeshkar got the best female playback singer for the song “Aaja Re Pardesi, Main To Kab Se”.
